Annual Conference

The Association runs a hugely successful annual conference attracting upwards of 500 people and covering all areas of bioengineering. Topics typically include healthcare robotics, biomaterials, medtech, biomechanics, cellular mechanobiology, tissue engineering, AI and machine learning, and rehabilitation,  The conference is held in September and moves around the UK with a new host institution and organising committee each year.

Our next conference, BioMedEng26, will be held in Liverpool on 5-6th September 2026
